ISIscan™ Version 3.00 Hotfix Details

! Please read this entire note before downloading and installing the Hotfix.

This update is recommended for ALL ISIscan 3.00 installations.

NOTE! The 3.00 hotfix is ONLY for ISIscan version 3.00 installations. This version was release November 2007.

NOTE! ISIscan version 3.00 requires a version 3 hardware key, included with new and upgrade ISIscan version 3 packages. Installing this hotfix over ANY other version will result in an inoperable system.

ISIscan™ v3.00 Hotfix Details

This fix solves an issue where calculated parameters in many cases would be calculated incorrectly. This applies only to customers that recently installed the new ISIscan version 3.00 which requires a new hardware dongle compared to previous versions.

Known expressions that do not work in ISIscan after this fix:

Expression	Description
5*IF(2>1;1;1)	Mathematical operations outside an IF statement results in an error.
-(PROTEIN+1)	Unary minus in front of paranthesis fails with error. Use -PROTEIN-1 instead. 1-(PROTEIN+1) also works.
2>1	Logical operations fails with error if not inside IF() statements.

In all cases the error is detected and an error message is displayed.

ISIscan™ v 3.00 Hotfix Installation Instructions

Download the .zip file and save to any directory.
Use WinZIP to open the zip archive and extract the files to C:\ [program files] \ Infrasoft International\ISIscan directory. Overwrite the extisting files.
To confirm the hotfix, use Windows Explore to navigate to the C:\ [program files] \ Infrasoft International\ISIscan directory. Hover over ISIscan.exe. The tool tip box should state File Version 3.0.1.5479 as below:
