RINA™ Version 3.20 Details

! Warning: do not use this release to update your RINA client installation unless directed to do so by your network manager. Updating a RINA client with a version not compatible with the RINA server could result in an inoperable client.

The RINA 3.20 update is 100% compatible with all RINA 3.10 server components. The RINA 3.20 update consists of:

• ISIscan 3.20.
• Network Manager 3.10.0.7509
• RINA Client Components 3.20.

Bugs fixed in the Network Manager and RINA Client components are listed below. Please see the ISIscan 3.20. news for more information on this program.

Network Manager

1. Network Manager could crash when refreshing the History Tab.
2. If ISIscan was not installed on the Network Manager's computer, Network Manager would crash during an XDS export.
3. If a user was running RINA and a sample number was edited after a scan was synched, that change was not recognized by the Network Manager in a later synchronization.
4. Enable/Disable product didn’t synchronize properly if the product tree was not expanded.
5. Improved speed of displaying samples in History Tab.

RINA Client Components

Note: The RINA client components are available as a full installation program and also as a self-extracting executable. Please see the RINA 3.10 Download page for more information.

1. Removed annoying and unnecessary error message box "FAILED to access ISIscan database" when ISIscan was starting and Rina Client Components running.
2. Improved checking RINA connectivity. Old method was reporting a lack of the connectivity and stopping synchronization even if the was no problem.
3. Enabled clients using proxy to connect to the server.
4. Improved speed of the manual network settings synchronization (from ISIscan)
5. Improved speed of the background network synchronization (RINA Client Components)
6. Removed stopping the service after a number of errors encountered.  Often, short breaks in connectivity could accumulate and stop the service for no reason.
7. Added an error balloon to inform a user about errors in RINA Client Components.
   Change of a sample number on RINA client is now synchronized properly to a server.
