RINA 4.10 Client Upgrade Installation Instructions:

The FOSS RINA server will be upgraded this weekend March 27 – 28.  During the upgrade, you will not be able to synchronize your RINA client to the server, but you will still be able to analyze samples.  Once the upgrade is complete and the server is back on-line, you must upgrade your RINA client to version 4.10 to be able to synchronize.

Click here for the pre-installation instructions.  Please note that your computer must have Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 sp1 installed.  The pre-installation instructions detail how to check if you computer has this component installed, and if not how to download and install it.  The pre-installation guide also details how to turn off the RINA Background Sync service so error messages do not keep coming up.

 ***Please note that you should not install the updates until you get the warning message informing you that you have the incorrect version.

The three steps you will have to perform are:

1. Download the ISIscan and RINA Client component upgrade programs from www.winisi.com downloads section
2. Once you get the incorrect version warning message, install the ISIscan upgrade
3. Install RINA Client Components upgrade

Your RINA installation will now be ready for use.
