RINA 4.1 Upgrade Details

The FOSS RINA server was upgraded March 27 – 28.  All version 3.10 / 3.20 RINA Clients must upgrade your RINA client to version 4.10 to be able to synchronize with the server.

Installation instructions and tutorial video clips are on the RINA 4.10 download page to explain this process.

The three steps you will have to perform are:

1. Download the ISIscan and RINA Client component upgrade programs from www.winisi.com downloads section
2. Once you get the incorrect version warning message, install the ISIscan upgrade
3. Install RINA Client Components upgrade

Your RINA installation will now be ready for use.

Archive

Note: The archive volumes will be available April 1, 2010.

As part of the upgrade, historical data was placed into two archive databases:

• RINA_2009 contains all sample and performance test data for the year 2009.
• RINA_pre2009 contains all sample and performance test data prior to 2009.

To access historical data, select the archive desired from the Database drop down box on the Network manager login screen as shown below. When you log in, historical data will be available for reporting and editing.
