After installing RINA client components, I get a message that synchronization failed. If I go to the About screen from the RINA Client Components icon, the Client SQL database version is blank.
CAUSE: The Client SQL database has not installed correctly.
VERSION AFFECTED: 2.85 and 3.10
SOLUTION: One possibility is that the Client computer does not have the proper Operating system version. It should be XP sp 2 or higher, or Vista. Install the service pack and re-install the RINA Client Components.
A second possiblity is that there is an existing SQL server on the computer. Please check the computer Control Panel for Microsoft SQL server. If this is installed, please contact your FOSS RINA specialist for an alternate way of installing the RINA Client database.
