The updates below are for licensed users of ISIscan™ software only, and are provided free as a service to our customers. Please read the descriptions carefully and follow the instructions carefully.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you back up your data before installing any upgrade.

ISIscan™ v 2.71 Upgrade

DETAILS

ISIscan™ version 2.71 has been released. ISIscan™ version 2.71 includes support for the InfraXact™ family of instruments (including the InfraXact™ Pro) , XDS Bench instruments (including the Rapid Content Analyzer, Rapid Solid Analyzer and Rapid Liquid Analyzer) as well as the System II family of FOSS instruments.

Version 2.71 is available as a free update to all customers with a valid license for version 2.20 and higher. The activated software key from the existing installation will be required to install and operate version 2.71. For more information, please contact your FOSS product specialist.

WARNING! Version 2.71 update is compatibile with version 2.20 and higher ISIscan™ installations. Using this update with any version 1.xx ISIscan™ installation will damage and disable the program. For updates from any version 1.26 and ealier installations, please contact your FOSS sales representative.

INSTALLATION

To install the ISIscan™ version 2.71 update, please follow the instructions below:

! Make sure that ISIscan™ is closed!

1. Download the ISIscan_v271_upgrade.zip from the link above. Save the file to any directory.
2. Use WinZip to extract the install.exe file.
3. Double click install.exe to run the installation program. Follow all instructions. When prompted to activate the hardware key, place your existing version 2.xx key on the USB port and press Continue.
4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

* Note: InfraXact™ users upgrading from version 2.31 will need to upgrade their Check cell configuration. Please see the Version 2.71 InfraXact ™ Check cell update for more information.

ISIscan™ v 1.26 Service Release

December 19, 2002

ISIScan™ v 1.26 service release includes some bug fixes and enhancements for the display of predicted results as well as linearization of process instruments. The update contains the updated program and help file..

NOTE: Version 1.26 is a service release and will only upgrade version 1.25 installations. If you have an ealier version, you must first upgrade to version 1.25.

The update is available free to all registered users of ISIscan™.

INSTALLATION

Instructions for installing the ISIscan™ v 1.26 upgrade

1. Download the file to the desktop
2. After the download has completed double click on the file to start the installation. Accept the agreement and the installation will proceed. When it is finished, a screen will inform you that the upgrade has been performed successfully.
